To the family member worried about your mom or dad right now,
A Note to the Family Caring for
Your Mom or Dad
I know this weight. The calls from the hospital. The sleepless nights wondering if they’re safe alone. The pressure of making the right decision when your mom or dad says “I’m fine” but you know they’re not. For over 14 years, I’ve been the person families call when it gets real. As a Licensed CNA, I’ve worked hospital floors here on the Westside and I’ve been invited into private Beverly Hills homes to care for mothers, fathers, and grandparents with the same dedication I’d give my own family.

Your loved ones in good hands
Here’s what I believe
Your mom or dad deserves more than a rotating schedule of strangers. They deserve one trusted caregiver who knows their routine, their medications, their stories, and their pride.
That’s what I provide. No agencies. No shift changes. Just me — showing up consistently to handle the personal care, medication reminders, dementia support, or post-hospital recovery so your mom or dad can stay safe and comfortable at home.
Hospital-level care with the privacy and dignity of home
What I can do

Personal Hygiene & Bathing Assistance
I provide complete, respectful help with bathing, showering, or bed baths based on mobility and comfort level. This includes hair washing, skin inspection for pressure sores or rashes, nail care, and safe transfers in and out of the bathroom. Every step is done with privacy, warmth, and clinical attention to prevent infections and maintain dignity.

Mobility, Transfers & Fall Prevention
Safe movement is everything. I assist with walking, getting in/out of bed, chairs, and the toilet using proper body mechanics and gait belts when needed. For clients using walkers or wheelchairs, I manage all transfers. I also do daily home safety scans — removing trip hazards, checking lighting, and ensuring grab bars are secure — because preventing a fall is better than treating one.

Medication Reminders & Compliance Monitoring
I organize and provide timely reminders for all prescription and over-the-counter medications according to your mom or dad’s doctor’s orders. While I do not administer medications, I ensure doses aren’t missed, watch for side effects, and keep a written log for you and their physician. I also coordinate prescription refills so there are no gaps in care.

Post-Hospital & Post-Surgical Recovery Support
I bridge the gap between hospital discharge and independence. This includes incision site observation for signs of infection, assistance with prescribed home exercises, pain-level monitoring, and ensuring all follow-up appointments are kept. My 14 years of hospital experience means I know what complications look like before they become emergencies, and I communicate directly with you and their care team.

Transportation & Appointment Escort
I provide safe, insured transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, physical therapy, the pharmacy, or religious services on the Westside. I stay during the appointment to take notes, ask clarifying questions your mom or dad might forget, and ensure discharge instructions are understood. For clients who no longer drive, this maintains their independence and ensures continuity of medical

Dementia & Alzheimer’s Companion Care
For clients with memory loss, I provide calm, consistent, redirecting care rooted in patience. This means structured daily routines to reduce anxiety, gentle reorientation, meaningful conversation, and engaging activities like music, photo albums, or light puzzles. I’m trained to de-escalate sundowning and confusion without confrontation, protecting their dignity at every stage.

Doctor’s Appointments & Medical Follow-Up
I manage the entire appointment process so nothing gets missed. This includes scheduling with specialists, providing safe transportation to and from offices across the Westside, and staying present during the visit to take detailed notes. I ask the clarifying questions your mom or dad may forget and ensure we both understand new diagnoses, medication changes, and discharge instructions. Afterward, I update you with a written summary, coordinate prescription pickups, and schedule any follow-up labs or testing. You’re looped in without having to take off work.

Vital Signs & Health Observation
I check and log blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, and blood sugar when ordered by the physician and equipment is provided. More importantly, I’m trained to notice subtle changes — appetite loss, swelling, confusion, or skin changes — that families often miss. You receive regular updates, so nothing falls through the cracks between doctor visits.

Toileting & Incontinence Care
Handled with complete discretion and respect. I assist with trips to the bathroom, bedside commodes, bedpans, or changing incontinence briefs. I maintain strict hygiene to prevent UTIs and skin breakdown, track output when medically necessary, and ensure your mom or dad never feels embarrassed. Dignity comes first.

Grocery Shopping for Healthy Food
Cooking Healthy Meals According to Doctor’s Orders & Client Conditions Every meal is prepared to match your mom or dad’s medical needs and personal preferences. I cook fresh, balanced meals that follow prescribed diets for diabetes, heart disease, kidney issues, chewing/swallowing difficulties, or weight management. This includes proper portion control, seasoning without excess salt, and texture modification like soft-food or pureed when needed. I also monitor fluid intake, provide companionship during meals to encourage appetite, and document intake for you and their physician. Cooking is done in your home, with cleanup included, so the kitchen

Light Housekeeping
I maintain a clean, safe environment directly tied to your mom or dad’s health. This includes laundry, changing linens, disinfecting bathrooms and kitchen surfaces, vacuuming main pathways to prevent trips, and taking out trash. For groceries, I shop using the doctor’s dietary guidelines — low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, cardiac, or renal diets — selecting fresh produce, lean proteins, and whole foods. I check expiration dates, read nutrition labels, and put everything away. This is clinical housekeeping focused on infection control and nutrition, not maid service.

Pet care
Beloved pets stay on schedule and at ease. Feeding, gentle walks, and quiet companionship, so your loved one’s best friend is never neglected.

I handle what keeps you up at night
What I do differently
I become the one person you trust in your home. No agencies sending a new face every week. No wondering who has a key. Just me — showing up consistently, handling the medical details, and treating your mom with the dignity and warmth I’d want for my own.
Whether she needs help after surgery, gentle dementia care, or just someone to make sure she’s safe while you’re at work, I’m here. I live on the Westside, so I’m close.
